Statement of Belief:

As a Catholic Bishop, founder of the Religious Congregation of Gospel Servants, I profess and adhere to the Catholic Faith as it has been consistently taught throughout the centuries since the time of our Lord Jesus-Christ.

In order to provide for the preservation of the Catholic Faith and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Sacraments, the following statements have been drawn up for the purpose of clearly defining our core of beliefs.

  • We adhere in all teachings of the VATICAN COUNCIL II on Faith and Morals, the NOVUS ORDO of the Holy Sacrifice of the MASS, the NEW CODE OF CANON LAW as Christian life’s Guidelines.

  • The Gospel Servant will continue the mission of the Catholic Church by sanctifying the faithful through the offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the administration of the Sacraments, and other pastoral works: “The salvation of the God’s people is our supreme law.”

  • The foundation of our justification is the incarnation, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Justification means that Our Lord Jesus-Christ Himself is our righteousness, in which we are saved through the Holy Spirit in accord with the will of the Father.

  • We adhere to the core tenets of the Christian faith that have been taught for millennia within the one, holy, apostolic, Catholic Church.

  • The beliefs of the Church have been revealed by Jesus Christ, the Son of God and through the Holy Spirit, the spirit of truth.

  • We adhere to the Nicene Creed “We believe in one God…” to the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, to the apostolic traditions and to the consensus of the Fathers and we profess that the seven sacraments of the new law were all instituted by Jesus Christ our Lord." – (Council of Trent, 1547 AD).

  • We believe that the central sacrament of the Church is the gift of the Eucharist: the body and blood of Christ blessed from bread and wine. The Eucharist when blessed by a priest at the mass is both a living sacrifice as well as a communion meal. The blessing of the Eucharist is the high point of the mass, and derives its spiritual grace from the Sacrifice of Christ at Calvary.

  • The Resurrection of the Dead "…We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen." –Nicene Creed.

  • We believe that the allowance of evil within God’s creation is above human reason and is a divine mystery. We cannot fully understand why an infinitely good God allows evil to corrupt his creation. However, it is a fact that Satan does exist and is "a liar and the father of lies" (John 8:44).
